Selangor PAS would like to convey its full support of the decree issued by the His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah yesterday to all Malaysians, regardless of their race and religion, to unite and pray for the security of Palestinian people and freedom of their homeland from the occupation and oppression of the Israeli regime.
Selangor PAS has raised the same concern and called earlier on 5 April 2023 for all religious representatives in the country to condemn the Israeli’s attack on the basis of universal justice and humanity.
Selangor PAS also strongly supports the decree instructing the Madani Cabinet to play a more constructive role as a member of OIC to unite and solve the problems faced by Palestine.
Israeli government must stop any unilateral action that threatens peace and reverse its earlier decision to advance the construction of more than 7,000 settlement building units across the occupied West Bank.
Selangor PAS totally rejects the expansion of Israeli settlements which are illegal under international law.
PAS is consistent in defending Islam and Muslims. PAS also upholds the principle of religious tolerance as stated in the Malaysian Constitution.
