Hundreds of Youngsters Add Delight to Fastaqim Convoy

KUALA NERUS, 29 Sept – Fastaqim 2.0 kick-started today with a motorcycle convoy ‘Konvoi Panji’ from Marang tu Batu Buruk.
The convoy was officially released by Bukit Payung ADUN, also the Chief Information Officer for PAS Terengganu, YB Mohd Nor Hamzah.
The convoy which gathered hundreds of youngsters, all beared Fastaqim insignias received attention local Terengganuians.
PAS Youth Head, Ustaz Khalil Abdul Hadi was also present to recite some prayers before the release of the convoy. Another notable leqader, Saudara Aswadi Mohamad, Chief Information Officer for Marang PAS Youth was also present.
The releasing ceremony first heard an opening speech by Ustaz wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah, the Assistant of PAS Terengganu who is also the Director of PAS Terengganu Information Department.
He encouraged and applauded the role of youngsters in participating in Fastaqim. He also extended his warm gratitude to members of the youth wing who readily gave their efforts in preparing for the event.
“We organize Fastaqim wih the simple intention of urging the society to be steadfast and exhibit istiqamah in upholding Islam, upholding this Deen, istiqamah with goodness, steadfast in rejecting all forms of violence and oppression, and all other wrongdoings on Earth”
“I thank all the youths, lead by PAS Youth Head Ustaz Khalil, who will come from all over the country and reside these couple days at Tok Jembal Beach” he said in full spirit.
At the same time, he invited people from all walks of life to attend the Pre Fastaqim Talk tonight as the proof of PAS’ readiness in the upcoming general election.
Many attractions are scheduled at this year’s Fastaqim including Mega Jamboree Pick-up 4X4, Fastaqim Motor Auto show, Alternative Band Show and ARC Motoring Grand Carnival, all scheduled to take place at 3pm this afternoon.
Fastaqim 2.0 will also witness the launching of Youth Istiqamah Carnival which willbe officiated by PAS Youth Wing Head Ustaz Khalil Abdul Hadi and PAS Muslimat Wing Head, Ustazah Nuridah Mohd Salleh tomorrow.
