SANDAKAN : Guru-guru PASTI sekitar daerah Sandakan, Beluran dan Telupid telah diraikan dalam satu majlis Sambutan Hari Guru yang diadakan semalam di Hotel Hsiang Garden dekat sini.
Majlis yang penuh meriah itu diadakan bagi menghargai jasa guru yang banyak berkorban membangunkan PASTI serta mendidik anak bangsa.
Sambutan itu yang mengangkat tema “Guru Istiqamah Pemangkin Kemenangan” telah menghimpunkan kira-kira 70 orang guru disamping ahli jawatankuasa yang turut bertungkus lumus menjaya agenda PASTI selama ini.
Selain penyampaian hadiah kepada guru-guru, turut diadakan ialah persembahan khas daripada Ahli Jawatankuasa PASTI sebagai tanda penghargaan mereka kepada guru-guru.
Timbalan Pesuruhjaya III PAS Sabah, Sahar Abdul Majid dalam ucapan perasmiannya pula memuji kesungguhan yang ditunjukkan oleh guru PASTI bukan sahaja di dalam bilik darjah bahkan ketika diminta untuk bertugas dalam program yang lain.
Sahar juga dalam ucapan tersebut sempat mendeklamasikan sebuah sajak yang didedikasikan khas kepada guru-guru yang banyak berkorban untuk manfaat anak bangsa.
Program yang berakhir kira-kira jam 11 malam itu turut dihadiri oleh Ketua Muslimat PAS Sabah, Norsah Bongsu, Naib Ketua Pemuda PAS Sabah, Masru Mustaqeem serta Ketua-ketua Pemuda Kawasan dan Ketua-ketua Muslimat Kawasan.
