TAWAU : Sempena Hari Raya Aidil Adha baru-baru ini , PAS Tawau telah mengadakan Majlis Program Korban Perdana bertempat di Madrasah Darul Hidayah , Kg Sungai Imam.
Program tersebut berjalan selama dua hari di ketiga-tiga DUN dalam Parlimen Tawau pada 22 dan 23 Ogos.
Sebelum itu, solat sunat Aidil Adha telah diadakan di Surau MDH dengan diimamkan oleh Ustaz Arifullah Arifin, manakala bacaan khutbah telah disampaikan oleh Ustaz Mohamad Syahmie Nasir dengan mengupas kisah sejarah pengorbanan Nabi Ibrahim.
Ahli Jawatankuasa PAS Pusat Mohamad Husain , merangkap YDP PAS Kawasan Tawau merakamkan kesyukuran atas kejayaan penganjuran program tersebut.
Beliau mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada semua ahli PAS yang terlibat sebagai petugas dan para penyumbang seperti NGO Syabab Care Gombak, NGO Muslim Care Kuala Lumpur yang telah menyumbang beberapa ekor lembu.
Dan beliau turut berterima kasih kepada orang ramai yang telah memberi kepercayaan kepada PAS Tawau untuk menunaikan ibadah korban mereka tahun ini.

Dalam masa yang sama , Mohamad Husain turut menasihati orang ramai yang ingin melaksanakan ibadah korban agar memastikan agar haiwan korban memenuhi syarat untuk dikorbankan.
Beliau berkata PAS Tawau bersedia membantu dalam semua urusan korban , dari memilih, menyembelih hingga ke proses mengedar daging kepada golongan yang memerlukan.
Namun beliau juga menyatakan kekesalannya terhadap beberapa pihak yang telah menyebabkan harga ternakan korban tinggi kerana ia mungkin akan menyebabkan sebahagian orang ramai yang berniat untuk melaksanakan ibadah tersebut merasa terbeban dengan harga binatang ternakan yang tinggi.
